  1. Surely it's well within the realm of possibility for a symm map to play symm and asymm modes relatively well. Slayer, however, is the odd one out, as we've come to know that deathmatch modes require certain criteria to be met for them to be acceptable. Depends on how much someone values consistency in all the areas of a game, or whatever else they pursue. ...If ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14-15 There are good and bad symms and asymms. Judge accordingly, without bias, but remember that it is your personal thoughts on the matter, and not absolute nor final. Others are recommended to follow, though they have the freedom to believe what they believe, within reason.
  2. So, Starcraft, Warhammer, League, Counter Strike? You leave out a good chunk of fantastic games, both single player and multiplayer, when you make a statement like that, along with solely focusing on FPS.
  3. Entirely up to you, though I want to clarify that my spare time is going to be slimmer. Still looking for work in this crazy world and all. Certainly hope he is adept in the Word; there's far too many pastors and ministers out there that twist the scriptures to their own destruction, like Peter warned. Here's to hoping he seeks God with all his heart.
  4. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth His handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath He set a tabernacle for the sun, Which is as a bridegroom coming out of His chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and His circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward. Who can understand his errors? Cleanse Thou me from secret faults. Keep back Thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my Redeemer. Psalms 19
  5. ...Where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding? Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living. The depth saith, "It is not in me": and the sea saith, "It is not with me." It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof. It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire. The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it shall not be for jewels of fine gold. No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom is above rubies. The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold. Whence then cometh wisdom? and where is the place of understanding? Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air. Destruction and death say, "We have heard the fame thereof with our ears." God understandeth the way thereof, and He knoweth the place thereof. For He looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven; To make the weight for the winds; and He weigheth the waters by measure. When He made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder: Then did He see it, and declare it; He prepared it, yea, and searched it out. And unto man He said, "Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding." Job 28:12-28
  6. Admirable you quoted the American Constitution. However, the issue of him calling upon multiple different gods from several sources, trying to comprise and name them as the same one, is a poor attempt of appeasement. Truly, the God of the Bible is very different from the gods others serve and worship; it wouldn't be a surprise if people would find this either humorous, or insulting. This just makes the whole thing more concerning. Making light of prayer is something I can't agree with at all, and doesn't make sense. If you're attempting to speak to a higher power (or powers), wouldn't you do it in meekness, humility, and reverence? That's my two cents, anyway.
  7. Since we're on this subject; My dad told me about this troubling event, and both of us discovered that one of the pastors we respect shared it. Very interesting start to 2021.

This map is a cage in the cosmos, luminated by the brightness of a blue sun. Combat can be quick, but will slow down if the top is controlled cleverly. There is a pair of Plasma and Splinter Grenades, along with a Max Ammo Carbine, to fight for. Meant for 2v2, but can play 4v4 Slayer and Oddball. Here is the download: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo-5-guardians/xbox-one/map-variants?lastModifiedFilter=Everything&sortOrder=BookmarkCount&page=1&gamertag=Oh SoulFlame#ugc_halo-5-guardians_xbox-one_mapvariant_Oh SoulFlame_c31c6bdd-098b-4c77-835a-07fec3bcb2e9 Here are some screenshots. Enjoy.
  9. The downsides to using it, is that it can be stolen, or you can die with it. I did mention those in my question. Once you're in a Banshee, there's not many reasons to exit if you're confident in your own ability to utilize it. That's my issue with them, along with my post that further explained my thoughts on the two extremes of them, and the rest of the vehicle sandbox. Apologies for not articulating it well enough.
  10. Wrong. The banshee indeed grants you all of the things I set forth in my post, and can ultimately dominate the enemy team with little effort for a standard player, and even more with an experienced pilot. However, the same vehicle can be countered with squad gunfire, a well placed sticky, or an EMP from a power drain or Plasma Pistol. This is a problem. I have had games where vehicles are a great annoyance. I have had games where vehicles are of little use. I have never had a match where the vehicles feel just right on a map, and provide ample challenge for the team controlling them, or attacking them. There is no map made by Bungie, or 343, or a Forger, where I thought the vehicles on them felt "good". It's always on the two extremes of "too damn strong" or "hardly worth using". You could make an argument for the Falcon in Reach, or the Mongoose for faster flag caps and bomb arming, but I wouldn't consider it worthy because of the aforementioned latter extreme. Someone who wants to make a map for vehicles would need to painstakingly craft it in such a specific way for it to work, that it would make said vehicles feel right at home within the playspace. I can't name a single map in existence where someone managed to make a Warthog fun to use and fight against, or a Ghost, or a Wasp or Hornet or Falcon, and most definitely not a Banshee. Until further evidence can be given, I'll stick by the statement that vehicles in Halo are dog.
